Palestinian Woman, Child Seriously Wounded in Israeli Airstrike in Southern Gaza

Gaza city: A Palestinian woman and her child were seriously wounded this morning in an Israeli airstrike in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, an Israeli drone targeted the woman and her child in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis, resulting in serious injuries. The incident has further intensified the ongoing conflict in the region.

The death toll since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 11 has reached 266 martyrs and 635 wounded. Despite the ceasefire, hostilities have continued, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.

The total number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, has risen to 69,483, with a significant proportion being children and women. The number of wounded now stands at 170,706, and many victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to rescue teams.
