Palestinian Martyred, Two Injured by Israeli Occupation Fire in Central and Southern Gaza

Gaza: A Palestinian was martyred, and two others were injured in a shooting and artillery shelling in central and southern Gaza Strip. Medical sources reported that a young man was martyred on Monday after being shot by a group of undercover Israeli occupation forces near the entrance to Al Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Another person and his daughter were injured in Israeli occupation artillery shelling in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, earlier on Monday, three Palestinians, including a child, were martyred in separate Israeli occupation shelling and shooting incidents in various areas of Gaza, marking a new violation of the ceasefire agreement. Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 11, the total number of Palestinians martyred and injured has reached 266 and 635, respectively.

The death toll in Gaza since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 69,483, most of them children and women, while injuries have reached 170,706. Several victims remain trapped under the rubble, and rescue and medical crews are unable to reach them.
