Palestinian Martyred in Israeli Airstrike East of Gaza City

Gaza city: A Palestinian was martyred on Sunday after Israeli occupation aircraft struck a group of Palestinians east of Gaza City, in a new violation of the ceasefire agreement.

According to Qatar News Agency, the occupation is carrying out demolition operations north of Rafah City, alongside heavy fire from helicopters east of Khan Younis. Since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, the toll of martyrs and injuries reached 266 and 635, respectively, with 548 bodies recovered.

The overall death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 69,483, mostly women and children, since the start of the Israeli aggression on Oct. 7, 2023. Injuries have reached 170,706, while many victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to rescue and medical teams.
