Beit furik: A young Palestinian man was shot and wounded Friday during an Israeli raid on the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRCS) Emergency and Ambulance Center in Nablus reported that the young man was shot and subsequently taken to the hospital. The incident occurred as Israeli forces stormed the town, employing heavy gunfire and tear gas, which led to clashes with local residents.
The center highlighted that the incursion is part of a pattern of daily raids carried out by Israeli forces in various locations throughout the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem. These operations often involve clashes with Palestinian youth, arrests, and the use of live ammunition, rubber-coated bullets, and tear gas.
In a related incident on the same day, settlers attacked residents and private vehicles in northern Jericho, further escalating tensions and sparking additional clashes in the region.
