Palestinian Injured with Gun Shots in Hebron

Hebron: A young Palestinian man was shot today by Israeli occupation forces during a raid on the town of Beit Awa, southwest of Hebron in the occupied West Bank.

According to Qatar News Agency, the occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Awa and fired live ammunition at a Palestinian youth in his lower extremities. The incident left the young man bleeding on the ground, while Red Crescent ambulance crews were prevented from reaching him for more than half an hour until the forces withdrew from the town. His injury was later described as moderate.

In addition to the shooting, the occupation forces also arrested another young man from the same town, adding to the tensions in the area. The situation in Beit Awa remains tense as the community grapples with the aftermath of the raid.
