Doha: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates called Thursday for effective international mechanisms to immediately halt the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, in light of the Israeli government's persistent use of starvation, deprivation of food, and denial of medical treatment as a weapon of war.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry warned against the occupation forces' continued escalation of their crimes by destroying the remaining homes and facilities in the Gaza Strip, coupled with the ongoing daily killings targeting over two million Palestinians who lack any safe shelter.

The Ministry explained that the occupation forces have forced residents to flee an area that does not exceed 18 percent of the Gaza Strip, exacerbating their daily suffering and pushing them toward displacement in various forms. The Ministry reiterated that the international community's inability to stop this genocidal war is unjustified, and that the swift implementation of international law is the only viable path to ending the Palestinian suffering, establishing a Palestinian state, and achieving regional stability.
