Doha: The Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast indicating that inshore weather conditions until 6:00 pm on Thursday will range from relatively hot to hot during the daytime, with slight dust in certain areas and mild conditions by night. The report cautions about strong winds during the day in specific locations.
According to Qatar News Agency, offshore conditions are expected to remain fine, although there are warnings of strong winds and high seas. Inshore winds are predicted to be northwesterly, blowing at 8 to 18 knots, with gusts reaching up to 25 knots during the day. Offshore winds are anticipated to be northwesterly as well, ranging from 10 to 20 knots and gusting up to 27 knots at times.
The sea state inshore is expected to vary between 2 and 4 feet, occasionally rising to 5 feet, while offshore conditions will range from 3 to 6 feet, with waves surging to 8 feet at times. Visibility inshore is anticipated to range from 4 to 9 kilometers, whereas offshore visibility will be between 5 and 10 kilometers.
