Pakistani PM, Chinese FM Discuss Enhancing Bilateral Cooperation

Islamabad: Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held discussions in Islamabad to explore opportunities for enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, Prime Minister Sharif expressed Pakistan's strong interest in further developing and diversifying its partnership with China. The focus areas for this enhanced cooperation include trade, investment, agriculture, industry, minerals, mining, and technology.

Sharif also reiterated Pakistan's unwavering commitment to the continuation of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project. He emphasized its significance as a central component in realizing the shared vision of both nations for improved regional connectivity and economic integration.
