Pakistani FM, US Secretary of State Hold Phone Call on Bilateral Relations

Islamabad: Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar discussed, in a phone conversation on Tuesday with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the advancement of bilateral relations. In addition, both sides deliberated on a raft of regional and global issues of common concern.

According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between the two nations. Both officials expressed a mutual interest in enhancing cooperation in various sectors, including trade and security. The dialogue also touched upon the need for collaborative efforts to address issues affecting the region, emphasizing peace and stability as shared goals.

The discussions are seen as a step toward reinforcing diplomatic relations and addressing geopolitical challenges. Both countries aim to engage in constructive dialogue to further cement their partnership and work together on issues of mutual interest.
