Omani and Japanese Foreign Ministers Engage in Talks on Regional Developments

Muscat: Oman's Foreign Minister, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, held a phone call with Japan's Foreign Minister, Toshimitsu Motegi, on Wednesday to discuss bilateral relations and explore ways to enhance cooperation in various fields. The conversation underscored the commitment of both nations to strengthen ties and collaborate on mutual interests.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministers also addressed the significance of a recent understanding reached between the United States and Iran. They expressed their support for regional and international efforts to ensure the agreement's success. The ministers emphasized that the agreement is vital for reducing tensions and creating conditions to safeguard maritime navigation security in the region, adhering to international law principles.
