Oman and Azerbaijan Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman and Azerbaijan held a session of talks on Wednesday. The Omani side was led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, while the Azerbaijani delegation was headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations between the two nations across the political, economic, cultural, and educational sectors. The talks also covered regional and international developments of mutual interest. Both parties highlighted the significance of ongoing diplomatic efforts to support regional security, stability, and sustainable development.

The ministers reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation and partnerships in various fields, with an aim to diversify shared interests for mutual benefits. Additionally, they underscored the importance of maintaining regular consultations on a range of regional and global issues and challenges.
