Hebron: National Security Minister of the occupation government, Itamar Ben-Gvir, stormed the blessed Ibrahimi Mosque on Wednesday morning amid tight security measures.
According to Qatar News Agency, Ben-Gvir, accompanied by dozens of colonizers, engaged in provocative movements within the mosque's courtyards. This action coincided with a decision by the Israeli occupation authorities to close the mosque overnight to Muslim worshippers in observance of a Jewish holiday, only to reopen it later for the colonizers.
The Israeli occupation forces impose a complete closure of the mosque for ten days each year under the guise of Jewish holidays. This practice effectively deprives Palestinian worshippers of their right to access the mosque, contributing to the ongoing temporal and spatial division in the area.
