Doha: A delegation from the Kuwait Oil Company visited the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MECC) to learn about the State of Qatar's experience in organizing the Winter Camping Season. During the visit, Director of the Wildlife Protection Department, Chairman of the Winter Camping Affairs Organization Committee at MECC Hamad Salem Al Nuaimi, provided the delegation with a presentation outlining the mechanism for regulating camping in Qatar and the laws and regulations that ensure the protection and sustainability of the wildlife environment.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Nuaimi emphasized that the Kuwaiti delegation's visit was part of the framework of Gulf cooperation and the exchange of expertise. He noted Qatar's commitment to strengthening environmental partnerships with the GCC countries.

The two sides agreed to continue coordination and joint work in environmental fields, aiming to enhance sustainability and improve the management of seasonal activities in natural areas.
