Doha: The National Committee for International Humanitarian Law held its 4th meeting of 2025 under the chairmanship of HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and Committee Chairman Saeed bin Abdullah Al Suwaidi. During the meeting, the committee discussed the agenda items and highlighted the national and regional developments. The committee also discussed its upcoming activities for 2026.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting provided a platform for the committee members to review and evaluate the progress made in their ongoing projects and initiatives. The discussions also focused on identifying key areas of improvement to enhance the effectiveness of their efforts in international humanitarian law.

The committee emphasized the importance of aligning their strategies with both national interests and international humanitarian standards. Plans for 2026 were outlined, focusing on expanding collaborative efforts at both national and regional levels to ensure comprehensive implementation of humanitarian laws.
