Doha: The Ministry of Labour's Department of Qualifying and Skills Development has organized a specialized training course aimed at Qatari job seekers and children of Qatari women holding accounting degrees. The course, conducted on Wednesday, focuses on "Information Systems Audit" and is part of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to enhance the national talent pool in strategic economic sectors, supporting the national job localization plan in the private sector.
According to Qatar News Agency, the training was held in collaboration with the Qatar Association of Certified Public Accountants. It aims to increase the proportion of the national workforce within the overall labour force in the country, aligning with the National Strategy for an Effective and Highly Productive Workforce 2024-2030.
Experts from the Qatar Association of Certified Public Accountants provided practical training sessions to equip participants with necessary knowledge and skills in IT systems auditing and information security. The course addressed theoretical foundations, auditing stages, and control mechanisms, adhering to international best practices and standards. This initiative helps participants meet the evolving demands of the labour market and engage effectively in the fields of accounting and IT auditing.
This training course is part of a series of year-round initiatives and programs implemented by the Ministry of Labour in collaboration with public and private sector partners. It aligns with the Ministry's strategy to enhance the efficiency of the national workforce, strengthen their competitiveness in the job market, and empower them to actively contribute to sustainable development. This effort aims to position the State of Qatar as a regional and global hub for innovation and knowledge, in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
