Ushuaia: An earthquake measuring 5.5 magnitude on the Richter scale struck Wednesday Ushuaia province in Argentina.
According to Qatar News Agency, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said in a statement that the earthquake occurred 251 km from the city of Ushuaia in the province, at a depth of 10 km.
So far, no reports of casualties or material damage have been reported due to the earthquake.
In March 2025, a 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck Tierra del Fuego province in southern Argentina, with no reported casualties or material damage.
