Doha: HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met with a parliamentary delegation from the United Kingdom's House of Commons and House of Lords. The delegation was led by HE Shadow Minister for Economic Affairs Mark Garnier and included HE Assistant Minister at the Department of Health and Social Care Dr. Zubair Ahmed, HE Chair of the International Development Committee in the House of Commons Sarah Champion, HE Member of the House of Lords Lord Ross Kempsell, and HE Member of the House of Lords Lord Aamer Ahmed Sarfraz.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on the bilateral relations between Qatar and the United Kingdom. Discussions also centered on providing humanitarian aid to Gaza and Sudan, as well as cooperation on development projects in Syria and Afghanistan.
