Doha: HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met with HE Special Assistant to the Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Ambassador in charge of the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, Okubo Takeshi, during his visit to Qatar.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on advancing bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Japan. The meeting addressed the latest developments in the region, with particular emphasis on the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories. Both parties explored various matters of mutual interest.

HE Minister of State highlighted the necessity of regional and global cooperation to ensure the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. He emphasized that such efforts are crucial for achieving lasting peace and stability in the region.
