Minister of State at Ministry of Foreign Affairs Engages in Crucial Talks with Mali and Tanzania

Doha: HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi received two important phone calls from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Mali Abdoulaye Diop and HE Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania Mahmoud Thabit Kombo.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions during the calls centered on the military escalation in the region and its impact on both regional and international security and stability. The ministers explored peaceful resolution methods for the ongoing disputes.

HE Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi emphasized Qatar's condemnation of Iranian attacks on its territory, stating that such actions are unacceptable under any circumstances. He highlighted Qatar's commitment to remaining neutral in regional conflicts and its efforts to facilitate dialogue between Iran and the international community.

The Minister of State called for an end to escalatory measures, urging a return to negotiations and prioritizing diplomatic solutions to maintain regional security.

Both the Foreign Ministers of Mali and Tanzania supported the call for de-escalation and encouraged a diplomatic approach to prevent further instability.
