Doha: HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met today with HE United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Senior Humanitarian and Reconstruction Coordinator for Gaza, Sigrid Kaa, who is visiting the country. During their meeting, the discussions focused on the latest developments in Gaza and the obstacles faced in providing humanitarian assistance within the Gaza Strip. Both parties explored potential avenues for collaboration to ensure the effective delivery of aid to the region. According to Qatar News Agency, HE Minister of State emphasized the urgent need for the international community to fulfill its responsibilities in addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, particularly in its northern areas. He highlighted concerns over the starvation policy implemented by the Israeli occupation and the impediments posed by the occupation in delivering essential humanitarian aid.
