Martyrs and Injuries Reported as Israeli Aggression on Gaza Continues

Gaza City: At least 10 Palestinians were killed on Thursday by Israeli gunfire and airstrikes targeting Gaza City and Rafah in Gaza Strip. Local sources reported that five people were killed in an airstrike on a group of Palestinians near the public service area in central Gaza City, while another was shot dead by Israeli forces in Rafah, southern Gaza.

According to Qatar News Agency, four more individuals were killed when Israeli warplanes bombed a house in Al-Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City. Meanwhile, Israeli artillery shelled residential homes and the bicycle market in Qizan Al-Najjar area, south of Khan Younis. The total number of Palestinians killed in Gaza since dawn of Thursday has reached 19.

Israel occupation resumed its military assault on Gaza on March 18, following a two-month ceasefire that had taken effect on January 19. However, throughout the ceasefire period, Israeli forces repeatedly violated the agreement by continuing airstrikes across various areas of the Strip, resulting in more casualties. It also refused to implement the humanitarian protocol and intensified its crippling blockade, plunging Gaza into an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
