Alaska: An earthquake measuring magnitude 4.7 on the Richter scale struck on Sunday in the State of Alaska, USA.

According to Qatar News Agency, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported that the epicenter of the quake occurred 78 kilometers from the Sand Point area of the state, and at a depth of 43.2 km. There have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake so far.
