Beirut: Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi discussed on Tuesday ways to strengthen relations between their two countries. During the meeting, Salam affirmed Lebanon’s commitment to bilateral relations with Iran, emphasizing mutual respect, the preservation of both countries’ sovereignty, and ensuring each nation’s independence to enhance regional security and stability.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Iranian foreign minister underscored his country’s eagerness to open a new chapter in relations with Lebanon, based on mutual respect and non-interference in each other’s affairs.
