Kuwait, Japan Elevate Bilateral Ties to “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership” Level

Doha: Kuwait and Japan agreed to raise the level of bilateral relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership. This significant development was announced in a statement issued by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs, marking a new chapter in the diplomatic and economic relations between the two nations.

According to Qatar News Agency, the announcement coincided with the official visit of HH Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al-Sabah to Japan. During this visit, HH the Kuwaiti Crown Prince engaged in official talks with Japan's Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba. The discussions primarily centered on bilateral relations and explored ways to enhance cooperation in various fields. This elevation to a comprehensive strategic partnership is expected to pave the way for broader collaboration and mutual benefits for both countries.
