Kuwait city: HH Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Wednesday welcomed HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani. HH the Crown Prince of Kuwait also welcomed Their Highnesses and Excellencies, the Interior Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, who greeted him on the occasion of their visit to the country to participate in the 42nd GCC Interior Ministers' meeting, being held in the State of Kuwait.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting is part of ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation and coordination among GCC member states, specifically in the realm of internal security and related matters. The ministers are expected to discuss a range of issues pertinent to regional security and ways to bolster collaborative measures.
