Kuwait Bourse Experiences Decline in Trading Session

Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday as the All Share Index lost 43.36 points to reach 8,747.66 points, a decrease of 0.49 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 301.5 million shares valued at KWD 82.6 million (roughly USD 253 million) were traded via 18,465 transactions. The Main Market Index decreased by 41.79 points to reach 8,087 points, down by 0.51 percent, with 124.3 million shares executed through 8,907 transactions valued at KWD 21.7 million (approximately USD 66.18 million).

The Premier Market Index saw a decline of 45.90 points to reach 9,343.74 points, a drop of 0.49 percent. The trading involved 177.2 million shares across 9,558 transactions, valued at KWD 60.9 million (about USD 185.7 million).

Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index went down by 79.37 points to reach 8,535.94 points, down by 0.92 percent. This movement involved a stock volume of 71.10 million shares through 4,796 deals, totaling a value of KWD 10.3 million (roughly USD 31.4 million).
