Kuwait Bourse Experiences Decline in All Share Index

Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday with the All Share Index losing 72.89 points to settle at 8,724.50 points, marking a decrease of 0.83 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 241.7 million shares valued at KWD 88.9 million, approximately USD 270.2 million, were traded across 18,401 transactions. The Main Market Index fell by 74.34 points to hit 8,111.32 points, reflecting a decline of 0.91 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 78.3 million shares via 6,781 transactions, with a total value of KWD 13.7 million, or approximately USD 41.6 million.

The Premier Market Index experienced a drop of 76.17 points, closing at 9,308.01 points, a decrease of 0.81 percent. This was achieved with 163.4 million shares traded through 11,620 transactions, valued at KWD 75.2 million, roughly USD 228.6 million. Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index decreased by 103.54 points to reach 8,588.31 points, a decline of 1.19 percent, with a stock volume of 64.3 million shares conducted in 4,760 deals, valued at KWD 11.6 million, or approximately USD 35.2 million.
