Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Sunday as the All Share Index lost 1.80 points to reach 8,695.55 points, a decrease of 0.02 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, as many as 516 million shares valued at KWD 96.8 million (roughly USD 295.2 million) were traded via 22,693 transactions. The Main Market Index saw an increase, going up by 28.99 points to reach 7,781.84 points, up by 0.37 percent. This rise occurred through 376.3 million shares transacted via 16,084 transactions valued at KWD 51.8 million (roughly USD 157.9 million).
The Premier Market Index, however, experienced a loss of 9.57 points, reaching 9,353.17 points, down by 0.10 percent. This change happened through 139.6 million shares completed via 6,609 transactions valued at KWD 45 million (roughly USD 137.2 million).
Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index increased by 82.43 points to reach 7,868.61 points, up by 1.06 percent. This was achieved through a stock volume of 304.4 million shares conducted in 10,554 deals at a value of KWD 43.2 million (roughly USD 131.7 million).
