Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday as the All Share Index lost 22.24 points to reach 8,561.27 points, a decrease of 0.26 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 321.7 million shares valued at KWD 77.4 million (roughly USD 236 million) were traded via 24,530 transactions. The Main Market Index saw a rise of 8.80 points to 7,631.24 points, representing an increase of 0.12 percent. This was achieved through 189 million shares traded via 16,754 transactions, valued at KWD 32.5 million (approximately USD 99 million).
The Premier Market Index experienced a decline, losing 31.09 points to settle at 9,216.34 points, down by 0.4 percent. This occurred through the trading of 132.7 million shares in 7,776 transactions, with a value of KWD 44.9 million (around USD 136.9 million).
Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index decreased by 29.40 points to stand at 7,558.58 points, a decline of 0.39 percent. This movement involved a stock volume of 103.2 million shares executed in 6,402 deals, valued at KWD 16.8 million (approximately USD 51.2 million).
