Kuwait Bourse Closes Lower as All Share Index Dips by 0.30 Percent


Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Sunday as the All Share Index lost 26.08 points to reach 8,794.74 points, a decrease of 0.30 percent. As many as 499.8 million shares valued at KWD 96.11 million (roughly USD 292.17 million) were traded via 24,465 transactions.



According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index went down by 62.48 points to reach 8,039.44 points, down by 0.77 percent. This was achieved through 304.4 million shares transacted via 15,795 transactions, valued at KWD 45.2 million (roughly USD 137.4 million).



The Premier Market Index experienced a loss of 18.28 points, reaching 9,417.70 points, a decrease of 0.19 percent. This movement involved 195.4 million shares exchanged through 8,670 transactions, valued at KWD 50.8 million (roughly USD 154.4 million).



Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index declined by 102.40 points to 8,197.80 points, a decrease of 1.23 percent. This was through a stock volume of 216 million shares carried out in 9,947 deals, at a value of KWD 34.9 million (roughly USD 106 million).
