Amman: King Abdullah II of Jordan and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis discussed over a phone call on Monday, ways to de-escalate the ongoing tensions in the region.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, the Jordanian monarch stressed the importance of concerted international efforts to achieve a comprehensive ceasefire, warning of the repercussions of the Israeli attack on Iran on regional security and stability.
The Jordanian king reiterated his country’s firm stance that it will not serve as a battleground for any conflict.
