Doha: Jordan's King Abdullah II discussed, in a phone call Thursday with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof, ways to enhance the response to the humanitarian disaster in Gaza. During the call, the Jordanian monarch stressed the need to intensify international efforts to stop the war on Gaza.
According to Qatar News Agency, King Abdullah II reiterated Jordan's continued coordination with brotherly and friendly countries to deliver emergency relief aid to the Gaza Strip by all possible means to mitigate the risk of famine. He warned of the continued dangerous escalation in the West Bank and Jerusalem, affirming the need to find a political way that leads to achieving a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution.
