Amman: Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Al Safadi met with his Irish counterpart, Helen McEntee, who is visiting Amman, to discuss ways to strengthen relations between the two countries. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing pressing issues in the region.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions also covered developments in the Middle East, particularly the situation in the Gaza Strip. Al Safadi expressed concerns over Israel's unilateral and illegal actions in the West Bank and its violations of Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied Jerusalem. He emphasized that these actions are escalating tensions and undermining efforts to achieve a just peace based on a two-state solution.
