Gaza City: A Palestinian young man was shot dead on Sunday by Israeli snipers' fire while inspecting his farmland on Al Sha'af Street, east of Gaza City, Palestinian medical sources reported.

According to Qatar News Agency, earlier today, health sources in the Gaza Strip stated that the death toll from the Israeli onslaught on the Palestinian enclave, since Oct.7, 2023, has climbed to 48,339 martyrs.

The ceasefire deal between Hamas movement and Israel took effect on Jan.19, 2025, but it didn't stop dozens of casualties among the Palestinians in evident violations committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip.
