Rafah: Seven Palestinians were killed on Monday in Israeli shelling in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, five Palestinians were martyred and dozens of those queuing for aid were wounded by Israeli gunfire in northern Rafah in the southern enclave. Meanwhile, two young Palestinians were martyred after being shot by an Israeli sniper near the Bani Suheila roundabout, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

At dawn on Monday, 41 Palestinians were martyred, including nine of those who were seeking humanitarian aid, and dozens were wounded in the unrelenting Israeli bombardment of several areas across the Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have unleashed an aggression against the Gaza enclave, which has resulted in the martyrdom of 59,821 Palestinians, most of them women and children, and the injury of 144,851 others, in a preliminary toll. Several victims are still under the rubble and on the streets, with medical and rescue personnel unable to reach them amid an unprecedented humanitarian crisis that has morphed into famine-level starvation.
