Israeli Occupation Forces Launch Major Military Operation in Northern West Bank

Jenin: The Israeli occupation forces on Sunday conducted a large-scale offensive in the northern West Bank and deployed military reinforcements to the perimeter of Jenin city.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Israeli occupation forces deployed dozens of military vehicles, including tanks and bulldozers, to the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.

The occupation forces embarked on arrests and house searches and conducted dredging operations of streets, in addition to destroying electrical and water grids, and smashing the Palestinians' vehicles and properties. The news agency reported that the 34-day Israeli onslaught on Jenin and its camp resulted in 27 martyrs, dozens of injuries, over 160 detainees, and the demolishing of approximately 120 homes almost entirely, along with dozens of homes partially, coupled with a large-scale decimation of infrastructure.

Meanwhile, local sources reported that for the 28th consecutive day, the Israeli forces have continued their aggression on Tulkarm city and its refugee camp, along with Nour Shams refugee camp for the 15th consecutive day. The sources noted that the infrastructure in Tulkarm camp was unprecedentedly decimated, including electricity, water, sanitation and communication networks, as well as public and private property, and the destruction of over 14 homes throughout the past days.

The Israeli offensive in the northern West Bank has led to the forcible displacement of over 40,000 Palestinians from Jenin, Tulkarm, Nour Shams, and Al Fara'a camps.
