Ramallah: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched on Tuesday widespread arrests across the occupied West Bank, arresting at least 33 Palestinians.
According to Qatar News Agency, the IOF arrested 10 Palestinians, including a child, in Al-Khalil governorate, eight Palestinians in Askar refugee camp, and eight others in Bethlehem. The IOF also arrested four civilians west of Salfit, as well as two young Palestinians in Jenin governorate, and another, west of Ramallah.
The IOF had arrested at dawn today six young Palestinians after having stormed the town of Bir Zeit, north of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank. The IOF also stormed several towns in Jenin governorate.
These arrests come as part of the escalating policy pursued by the Israeli occupation in the West Bank, which aims to terrorize Palestinians, restrict their movement, and persecute activists and freed prisoners.
