Quneitra: Israeli occupation forces re-invaded villages in the Quneitra countryside in southern Syria on Saturday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Israeli patrol, accompanied by reconnaissance aircraft, entered the villages of Ain Al Bayda, Ofania, and Al Hurriya in northern Quneitra. The forces established checkpoints and conducted individual checks on passers-by.
A separate operation saw 30 Israeli military vehicles entering the southern village of al-Asha overnight. The forces reportedly searched homes and tampered with their contents before retreating to the occupied Golan Heights on Friday.
The Israeli occupation forces continue their operations within Syrian territories, violating the disengagement agreement of 1974, the international rules-based order, and UN resolutions concerning national sovereignty.
