Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces detained 25 Palestinians from various areas of the West Bank last night. The Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) reported these arrests as part of an ongoing crackdown in the region.
According to Qatar News Agency, the PPS issued a statement on Thursday indicating that the detention campaign specifically targeted prisoners who were recently released as part of an exchange deal. This move is seen as a violation of the agreement, signaling to released prisoners that they continue to face threats and persecution.
The arrests are part of a broader aggression by the occupying forces against the Palestinian people, an escalation that has been ongoing since the start of the war of extermination. During this conflict, approximately 17,000 Palestinians from the West Bank have been detained, in addition to dozens of Palestinian workers and thousands more from Gaza.
