Beirut: The Israeli occupation army persisted with its military actions in southern Lebanon on Sunday, disregarding the truce that was initiated on April 16.

According to Qatar News Agency, Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) disclosed that Israeli forces set fire to residential properties in the town of Qantara, located in the Marjeyoun district. Additionally, significant explosive operations were conducted in the regions surrounding Taybeh and Deir Siryan, with continued sweeping operations in Deir Siryan.

The NNA further reported another demolition explosion in Mays al-Jabal, also in the Marjeyoun district. In a related development, Israeli forces proceeded with the demolition of remaining structures in Bint Jbeil, while tanks maintained a presence in the area, conducting patrols to assert control.
