Israeli Drones Target Syrian Territories

Damascus: Israeli drones carried out several airstrikes on Wednesday on the outskirts of Beit Jinn in the western Damascus countryside, targeting the Bat al-Ward road and Bat al-Ward hill areas. No casualties have been reported.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flew intensively over the western Damascus countryside and the northern Quneitra countryside.

On Nov. 28, Israeli forces targeted civilian homes in Beit Jinn, killing 13 people and injuring dozens. Israeli forces also entered the town and arrested three residents. An Israeli force, consisting of three vehicles, also advanced from the destroyed city of Quneitra towards the town of al-Samdaniyah al-Sharqiyah.

Earlier today, an Israeli force advanced from the Adnaniyah point towards villages in the southern Quneitra countryside. Israel continues its aggressive policies and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement by incursions into southern Syria, targeting civilians through raids, arbitrary arrests, forced displacement, destruction of property, and the bulldozing of agricultural land.

Syria consistently demands the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation from Syrian territory, asserting that all measures taken by Israel in southern Syria are null and void and have no legal effect under international law. Syria calls upon the international community to uphold its responsibilities, deter the occupation's practices, and compel Israel to withdraw completely from southern Syria and return to the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
