Gaza city: Five Palestinians were killed and others wounded Wednesday in renewed Israeli shelling of areas in the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA) reported that one person was killed, and two others were injured when the occupation forces bombed a tent housing displaced people near the Zenon and Al Shaer gas stations in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
One person was killed, and dozens were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a gathering in the Firas Market in central Gaza City. The Ahli Baptist Hospital announced the arrival of one martyr and three injuries, as a result of an Israeli drone attack on a group of citizens in the Firas Market in Gaza City.
Baraa Al Zubdah died of wounds sustained in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house in the Al Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, a few days ago. At least one person was killed, and several others were injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting aid seekers in the Al Sikka and Batn Al Sameen areas south of Khan Yunis. Dozens more were injured, ranging from moderate to serious, when the occupation targeted a house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, near the Sheikh Radwan clinic north of Gaza City.
Sources in the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that the number of martyrs killed by Israeli occupation forces since dawn today has risen to 31. The ministry announced yesterday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which began on Oct. 7, 2023, had risen to 59,219 martyrs and 143,045 wounded.
