Tyre: Five people were killed and another injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the town of Al Shahabiya in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon. According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the preliminary death toll from an Israeli airstrike on Barja in Mount Lebanon has risen to 20 dead and 14 wounded. Rescue and rubble removal operations are still ongoing. The National News Agency (NNA) reported that Israeli warplanes conducted raids on the towns of Yahmor Al Shaqif and Arnoun, along with artillery shelling in eastern Yahmor, located in the Nabatieh District of southern Lebanon. In Tyre, warplanes raided the town of Deir Qanoun Al Nahr, resulting in significant damage to property. Since October 2023, Lebanon has been subjected to Israeli aggression, which intensified towards the end of September. The Israeli entity has escalated its aerial and artillery bombardment, expanding its targets to include the capital, Beirut. This escalation has led to the deaths and inju ries of thousands of Lebanese and has forced over a million people to flee their homes.
