Gaza city: Director of the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza, Dr. Marwan Al Sultan, was killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted his apartment west of Gaza City.
According to Qatar News Agency, correspondent, medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital reported that Dr. Al Sultan was martyred due to an Israeli airstrike on his apartment near Rashid Street, in the Tal Al Hawa neighborhood, west of Gaza City.
During the Israeli aggression on Gaza, occupation forces have killed and wounded hundreds of Ministry of Health and medical personnel, arresting others, including hospital directors. The majority of hospitals and medical clinics have been destroyed, indicating a systematic targeting of the health system.
The humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is becoming increasingly complex. The Israeli occupation's intransigence in preventing the entry of humanitarian aid to the population and the continued bombing of all areas, including the remaining medical and service facilities and the tents of displaced people, exacerbate the crisis.
