Tehran: The Iranian Border Guard has announced that 44 drones and small aircraft of the Israeli entity were shot down and destroyed in various areas along the country’s borders. Commander of Iran’s Border Guards, Brigadier-General Ahmad Ali Goudarzi, stated that these drones and aircraft were intercepted following an Israeli airstrike over the past 48 hours.
According to Qatar News Agency, Brigadier-General Goudarzi highlighted that the drones and small aircraft were attempting to enter Iran’s airspace when they were detected and destroyed. The Border Guards Commander further emphasized the full operational readiness of the border guard forces to monitor the border and confront any threats.
