Kuwait city: HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force "Lekhwiya," Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, chaired the delegation of the State of Qatar at the 42nd meeting of Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Ministers of Interior of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, held today in the State of Kuwait.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on several key issues, including strengthening joint Gulf security cooperation and coordinating efforts to tackle regional and international security challenges. Discussions also covered ways to improve collaboration among the security agencies of the GCC states and develop effective coordination mechanisms to combat crime, terrorism, and drug-related activities, ensuring the security and stability of the region.
In his speech, HE the Minister of Interior and Commander of Lekhwiya expressed gratitude to Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Ministers of Interior for their collaborative efforts in reinforcing Gulf security cooperation. He emphasized Qatar's dedication to supporting joint security initiatives, enhancing coordination, and expanding security partnerships to achieve stability and safety for the peoples of the GCC states.
