Seoul: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has sent a written message to HE President of the Republic of Korea, Lee Jae Myung, focusing on bilateral relations and strategies to enhance them. The message was personally delivered by HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, during his meeting in Seoul with the Korean President.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani’s greetings and best wishes for good health and happiness to HE the Korean President. He also extended wishes for sustained progress and prosperity to the government and people of Korea.

In response, HE the Korean President entrusted the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with his greetings to HH the Amir. He expressed his wishes for continued success for His Highness and further advancement and prosperity for the State of Qatar.

The meeting also involved discussions on enhancing bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Korea and covered a range of topics of mutual interest to both nations.
