Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call from HE President of the Republic of Cyprus Dr. Nikos Christodoulides on Sunday.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, the President of Cyprus expressed his country's solidarity with the State of Qatar and strongly condemned the Israeli attack that targeted residential buildings. He emphasized that such actions are a clear violation of international laws and norms and pose a threat to the security of Qatar and the surrounding region.

In response, HH the Amir affirmed that Qatar will take all necessary measures to protect its security and sovereignty in light of the Israeli attack. His Highness conveyed his gratitude to the President of Cyprus for his sincere sentiments and for the solidarity shown by Cyprus towards Qatar and its citizens.
