Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with HE Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the State of Qatar, Amr Kamal El Din El Sherbini, at his Amiri Diwan office on Thursday morning. The meeting was held on the occasion of the ambassador's departure as his tenure in the country comes to an end.

According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Amir extended his wishes for the ambassador's success in his future endeavors and expressed his hopes for continued development and prosperity in the bilateral relations between Qatar and Egypt.

The ambassador conveyed his gratitude to HH the Amir and other state officials for their cooperation, which he noted as a significant factor in the success of his mission in Qatar.
