Gaza city: Eight people, including four children, were martyred in an Israeli airstrike Thursday on a group of Palestinians in Gaza City.
According to Qatar News Agency, local sources reported that the Israeli warplanes renewed their airstrikes on the Al Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City, targeting a group of civilians. The attack resulted in the deaths of eight individuals and left 14 others wounded.
The sources noted that this was not the first incident in the Al Sabra neighborhood. The Israeli air force had previously targeted a group of civilians in the same area, resulting in three fatalities.
Since dawn on Thursday, the Israeli occupation forces have killed a total of 12 people, including five aid workers, in Gaza City and Khan Yunis. The ongoing violence has continued to raise concerns over the humanitarian situation in the region.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced earlier on Thursday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 62,192, with 157,114 individuals wounded. The escalation in violence highlights the severe impact on the civilian population and the urgent need for international intervention and peace efforts.
